so my mom, my mom's friend and i went to pf changs today and it was a real adventure

first thing we do we get in the car and we start looking for chinese restaurants
my mom's friend tried to get siri to find one for us but she ended up sassing us out

i say "hey there's a pf changs in the mall near here. how about we go there instead of continuing this fruitless hunt for good chinese food" and that seemed to solve the problem

we go into the parking garage and promptly get lost. i swear to god, theseus himself must have designed this damned garage because it's p much impossible to find your way around it

so we got a spot and we go to the mall entrance, and it's one of those floors where there's nothing but elevators and stairs. we end up going down four flights of stairs before we realize that we could have just gone up one from where we started and we'd be right on the retail level

so now we're in the mall and we're trying to find the damn pf changs and we find out it's not in the main mall AT ALL. to get there, we had to take another elevator down to the third garage level and then walk a bit through the cars and it was a pain in the bum

when we FINALLY get to pf changs there's an hour wait for tables, ok, whatever. we go sit at the bar where we can still get appetizers and stuff while we wait for our table.

so mom's friend and i are sitting, eating some dumplings when out of nowhere this dude comes up and if he was hitting on mom any harder we could have brought him up on charges

so mom's friend waves me over and she whispers in my ear

"i thought she swore off meat"
